Creatures from the Land of Dreams:
Collaborative Drawings

The Vancouver Draw Down team was part of the Vancouver Art Gallery's The Making Place program on Sunday, June 26. We invited participants to visit the amazing The Colour of My Dreams: The Surrealist Revolution in Art exhibition, then get in touch with their inner Surrealist by tapping into the collective unconscious through a unique collaborative drawing activity. No drawing skills were required—just everyone's creativity and sense of fun!

As part of Vancouver Draw Down 2011 the VAG's Making Place activities throughout July are all about drawing. Try making your own drawing tool, adding to a drawing made by others and creating a drawing that moves. No previous drawing experience necessary! These Making Place events take place on Sunday, July 10, 12 - 4 pm and Sunday, July 24, 12 - 4 pm.

You're invited to the VAG's Vancouver Draw Down Finale event on Saturday, July 23 from 12:00 - 2:00 pm.
